Give a man a bank holiday and he'll do the gardening.
Easter Monday and one of the busiest days of the year for the store I work in. And today didn't disappoint, for want of a better word.
They came in their busloads, filled the aisles, complained their hardest then left.
Due to several rota eff ups, we were left shorter staffed than we had hoped and consequently I was left to man the customer coming to have a go desk alone for the large quantity of my shift.
It didn't help that I had made a grievous error when serving someone that I also had to sort out.
The only thing positive about a day of stress at work is the feeling of arriving home with two days off ahead.
And I plan to enjoy them!
